The Port of Los Angeles (POLA) is embracing new technology to help increase supply chain efficiency by testing a new mobile app which aims to expedite containerised cargo.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said last week that POLA and Cargomatic are testing Cargomatic’s mobile app to accelerate the flow of containerized cargo at the port, which POLA said is key for increasing supply chain efficiency.
